sushi debute at work. Turned really tasty, im so proud!
Me and my colegue just got our brains together and came up with a potentionally brilliant recipe. Will try cook it and then post result here! Flat-fish with wasabibutter, ginger and plum sauce and rice. Be prepared!
The apple doesn’t fall far as they say. Tonight my papa prepare breastfilet of duck with springonion and creamy cabage. So awesome yummy!
Take it from me, ladies. You’re all awesome shaped!
Trying to get out of a body image funk, while simultaneously practicing perspective (which it is slowly dawning on me I am terrible at)
Ever found you are getting tired of your old minced meat beefs?? Wish you could do something new??
Don’t be afraid to rummage in your refrigerator. You’ll be surprised at how much you can use to spice up you meal.
1. Add roughly hacked garlic, green olives and feta cheese.
2. Ad a spoon pesto, roughly hacked sun dried tomatoes and some rosemary.
3. A rather Swedish taste is adding allspice. It is also not too wrong adding just a small spoon of apple pure to this. Don’t worry, sweet and salty usually complements each other.
4. A classic is adding capers and roughly hacked pickled beetroots. this will get you a famous Swedish Beef a la Lindstrom
Trust me, you can find so much more. All you need is the courage to try it, and the spirit to experiment.
I guess everybody has had that moment of emergency sugar munchies. I sure has, and while I mostly can fight it, sometimes it wins. So I need something sweet, FAST!! No time to go to the store to get something! It’s mix up time!!! Take 1 tblsp butter or margarine. Melt it in the microwave. now add a tsp. of sugar, around half a dl of oatmeal and halv a dl of flour. Mix untill it feels like cookiedough. Eat^^ OK, it’s not at all fat free, free of sugar, or healthy. But I think one can’t always be concerned with healthfood.
Imagine my absolute thrill when I found Gyoza at my local supermarket! They had both seafood and meat! Wohooo!
And I mean it!!! The modern family throws away horrible amounts of perfectly good food.
Remember those olive and cheese beefs I did two days ago? Today I cut them into small cubes having them to pasta with a sauce based on some leftover tomato pizza sauce.
And the tomato sauce from when I had the beefs? That turned into a tasty tomato-black bean soup for yesterdays lunch.
And don’t hesitate to ask for a doggy-bag when you can’t manage to finish your food at a restaurant. It’s a good way to get a lunch for your next day lunch break at work. Plus you payed for it so it’s like throwing away money!
